| Virgin have a few BYO or sim only plans and they are providng to be quite popular particularly since they re-released them with much improved data offerings. The Virgin Topless plan is the ultimate Virgin offering. Pay $79/mth (BYO) and get unlimited calls and text to anyone plus 4GB of data. This isn’t a business plan. If you are a heavy user of calls on your phone, particularly if you don’t have a home fixed phone line, this could be a great option for you. One phone, one number and only $79 per month. Moving beyond the Topless plan we have the Virgin Mobile Big Plans. Four big plans make up the range starting at just $19/mth on the $20 Plan which offers $250 in calls and 250MB data. This equates to just over 100 calls each month. Great thing about these plans is that they access the Optus 4G network. Step up to $29/mth (Big Plan $39) and receive $450 in calls (189 calls) and 1GB data. If you cherish your TXTing you can add $10/mth and access unlimited TXT and 2GB data. Note that all of these plans comes with unlimited Calls/TXT to Virgin customers and unlimited Voicemail. The final plan is the Big Plan $59. Take $10 for BYO and you receive $700 in calls/TXT (equals 294 calls) plus 3G data.Whilst the call value in these plans seems to have fallen a little this year, BYO plan through Virgin offer you a Nano Sim and now 4G data speeds. |
